On behalf of the Retired Members Division of the UFU, please except our condolences on the passing of Neil.
Our sincerest condolences to all of Neil’s family and friends.
Neil, you were always great to me and willing to chat. You were much more of a mentor than many would expect. I treasure our conversations, times working together and rare but worthy catch ups. You inspired me more than you know.
A man of character, integrity and courage.
He will be fondly remembered.
I’ll miss you my friend
A man of honesty, a loyal friend, who was larger than life and lived that life to the full. I miss you my little mate.
God Speed Neil Anderson
Wishing you well on the journey Neil. You helped so many in your own quiet way. Nothing was handed to you, and you understood struggle and hardship, and wanted to help others avoid it. I will miss our chats about life the universe and nothing in particular..The invitation to visit is still open.
Sending love and best wishes to all your family and loved ones, will miss you xo
A man of true value one who will be missed
Rest easy my friend
You always had time for newbies in the field, always shared a good joke and made our meetings all the more fun and down to earth. Remembered fondly and glad to have met you!
In loving memory of my darling cousin Neil. You have been a big part of my life since I was a little girl. You were another big brother to me. I will miss our conversations and heated banter at times but know I will cherish our memories always.
Lots of love Heather XXX
Sad to hear of the passing of another really good person and fellow firefighter. Although I didn’t see a lot of Neil over the last years, our times as firefighters previously have great memories. I am sure you have had wonderful memories of Neil and they stay with you forever. Kind Regards, Steve O’Sullivan, Reg No 2888.
To my buddy Neil,
All I can say Neil is that I am so grateful for your friendship over the past 20 years!! You always made me laugh with your most ridiculous smart alec comments and ways!! Not everyone had the opportunity to know your kind and generous heart - so for that I am also grateful as I was one of those few who received the fullness of your heart. I often tell stories of our firehouse days and laugh .. such great memories.. lots of love to you always xx Gena
Here are a few pics of our flying trapeze team building day!!!
To Jam, Daniel and Nathan, that was a beautiful service and very powerful. Your choice of speakers was excellent and really summed up Neil’s life. You all did him proud. Regards Bruce Hutchison
