Founded in 2019, Golden Gate Funerals was formed based on five core values, and that is: to serve every family with honesty, compassion, sympathy, respect and dignity always.

We are conveniently located 15 km north of Melbourne in Keilor Park and 35 km west of Melbourne in Melton, that radius does not bind us. We are very proud and honoured to be able to serve families Victoria wide, we stand with our families and their communities regardless of time and place, our support knows no boundaries. 

When it comes to making funeral arrangements, if you feel comfortable, you’re welcome to come to us, or we can come to you in the comfort of your own home.

We are so proud to offer families the traditional funeral service. By traditional, we mean a service in which the family themselves are involved from the very first call. This is so important, as, unfortunately, we now live in an impersonal society. We believe when making arrangements for a funeral, it is then more than ever that personal attention and a need for care is far more important than anything else. 

At Golden Gate Funerals, we are there personally every step of the way to ensure that you are attended too. With our extensive experience within the funeral industry, we have always been innovative in conducting services.

We guarantee that special requirements will be carried out, as this is a very precious and comforting reassurance.

OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

At Golden Gate Funerals we are very proud of our community involvement, Community is something that’s very important and we hold at a high regard here at Golden Gate Funerals with the majority of our staff being born and raised in this community and now live either within or the surrounding suburbs of this community it is no wonder we see Melton as our home and we treat everyone as if they were OUR family.

You will see us actively participating in volunteering in many community events within our community, with our biggest one being the local festival.

We strongly support a non-for profit organisation called Resergence, They are located on Graham Street and offer food bank services as well as resources for homelessness.

Once a month we support smaller charities such as:

• Freeze MND
• Olivia Newton John cancer research
• Lost dogs home
• Beyond blue
• Relay for life
• The men’s shed
• RCPCA
• Red nose foundation 
• Ronald McDonald house
• Good Friday appeal
• Lions club international 

Just to name a few.

We also hold 3 raffles throughout the year, with prizes being donated from small local businesses within the community, we hold a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas raffle with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the allocated charity of choice, And the charity is advertised before the tickets go on sale.
