Aged 90

· A Caring daughter of Late Doraiswamy Naidu and Rukmani Naidu

· Understanding sister of late Ramchandra, Surendra, Subhash, late Saratchand Naidu and Late Shakuntla Devi

· Lifelong loyal wife of Late Munswamy Chetty (Gopal Chetty)

· Irreplaceable mother of Dr Vijay Lakshmi Chetty and Anil Rudra Chetty

· Loving Mother-in-law of Dhan Latchmi Chetty

· Legendary Grandmother of Hari, Koshaliya, Nischal, Karina Chetty and Rohini Nair

· Great Grandmother of Hushaelyn, Xayden Harison Chetty-Park, Deyanah Abigail Chetty

· A memorable “Amma” “Akka” “Fuwa” and a friend to all.

Our Most Valuable Mother

You were more than just ours, mother. A familiar heart, a house, and a light. You extended a warm welcome to everyone who arrived, Your generosity was evident in every word,

and no guest went hungry or unheard.

You filled our hearts with love and grace,

warmth, and a loving embrace. You answered every quiet call,

and you were a mother to everyone, not just us.

You offered your heart, your time,

and your smile throughout every hardship and challenge. You soothed our tears and eased our anxieties for ninety glorious years. You depart today, but not by yourself, for love will lead the way back.

Dad is waiting with his arms out. Now, side by side, no longer separated. Your brothers, sister, and parents too, Have all been waiting just for you.

And as you left, the world stood still, For hearts you’d touched, for love you’d filled. They came to see you, say goodbye, With grateful tears and voices high.

From Fiji’s shores to Malaysia and India’s land, From Canada’s snow to New Zealand’s sand, Across the seas, across the miles, They honored you with love and smiles.

They praised your warmth, the life you gave, The kindness deep, the strength so brave. They vowed to carry what you taught, The love, the care, the selfless thought.

So go, dear Mum, with joy and grace, To find your next and rightful place. With children’s laughter, wisdom’s light, A brilliant soul, still shining bright.

Through nature’s beauty, fire’s glow, Through every heart you’ve touched and known, Your love remains—forever true, Mum, our world was blessed by you.

May she rest in peace.
